Sam Rayburn ISD

High School Classroom Addition
Ivanhoe, Texas - Completed October, 2007

This nine-classroom addition to the existing high school at Sam Rayburn ISD consisted of a computer laboratory, an art room, a business classroom and six general academic classrooms, as well as custodial space and toilet rooms for both students and faculty. The building was constructed in accordance with the Owner's Campus Master Plan and materials were carefully selected to blend with the existing structures.

The 12,000 square foot addition also required an additional 760 square feet of remodeled area in the existing high school in order to successfully join the two structures together.

The project was constructed by C. R. Reynolds, General Contractors of Sherman, Texas, under a lump sum general contract at a total cost of $1,287,475.00 ($101 per square foot) and was completed in October, 2007.
