High School Fine Arts and Vocational Agriculture Building

This 18,093 square foot building was constructed to house the Honey Grove High School Fine Arts programs, as well as the Vocational Agriculture Department and Auto Mechanics program. The building includes a new band hall, drama classroom and storage room with a rehearsal stage, and art classroom; plus a Vo-Ag shop, office and classroom and an auto mechanics shop, office and classroom. The building also includes a storage mezzanine above the offices, accessed by disappearing stairs.

The building was constructed by the Forward Corporation of Bonham, Texas, under a single lump-sum general contract. The final cost of the project was $1,256,000.00 ($69.42 per square foot).
